called "Screen Worlds"

It charts the history of screen-based entertainment, from cinema’s early beginnings to the rise of television, games, the internet, new media and the digital age.

Location: Melbourne’s Federation Square

Opening: This Sunday 20th September 2009

In the “emergence” section of the new Screen Worlds exhibition, visitors will be able to get hands-on with the pioneering Magnavox Odyssey as well as classic games like Space Invaders, Tempest, Super Mario Bros 3, Tomb Raider and pioneering Australian classic Way of the Exploding Fist.
